Pemberton, British Columbia, is a stunning destination for any wedding, and when you add a touch of mountain magic to the mix, it becomes nothing short of enchanting. I had the honour of providing hair and makeup services for Sierra and her bridal party on her big day, and what a day it was! With the breathtaking backdrop and a lovely rustic aesthetic, Sierra’s wedding was an absolute dream.
Early Morning Beginnings
The day began bright and early at 7 am, where I met up with Sierra and her bridal party for a fun and exciting morning of pampering. With the ceremony fast approaching, we had a full crew of talented artists, including myself, to ensure everyone was ready on time. Having a team of four hair and makeup artists helped streamline the process, allowing us to get all the beautiful bridesmaids, Sierra, and her mother, looking their absolute best before they headed to the ceremony.
With only a few hours to work with, the atmosphere was focused yet relaxed, and I loved seeing the excitement and joy building as each person was transformed. From natural makeup looks to soft, romantic hairstyles, each bridesmaid’s look was tailored to fit her unique style while complementing Sierra’s overall vision for the day.
Bridal Beauty That Took Everyone’s Breath Away
Sierra’s bridal look was a true reflection of her timeless beauty. We opted for a soft, natural makeup look that enhanced her features without overpowering them. The goal was to create a fresh and radiant appearance that allowed her natural glow to shine through. Her hair was styled in loose, modern french twist, a perfect match for her elegant gown and the relaxed vibe of the day.
What made the experience even more special was the incredible connection we shared throughout the morning. The energy in the room was filled with excitement, laughter, and love as we all came together to create something truly beautiful for Sierra’s big day.
The Mountain Backdrop & Rustic Charm
What made this wedding even more magical was the gorgeous scenery. The mountains served as a jaw-dropping backdrop to their ceremony, and the rustic, warm-toned decor made for a romantic setting that perfectly complemented the stunning natural surroundings. From the florals to the table settings, everything was thoughtfully curated to evoke warmth and intimacy.
One of my favourite details of the wedding was how the colour scheme mirrored the beautiful earth tones of the surrounding mountains. The rich rust tones, combined with the natural beauty of the landscape, created a serene and intimate atmosphere.
A Day to Remember
Working on Sierra’s wedding was a truly unforgettable experience. From the early morning prep to the joyful celebrations later in the day, it was clear that this was a celebration of love, beauty, and nature.
