Wedding prep!

Your wedding is coming up and you are not sure how to get your skin ready for it… Here is an easy top 5 for all the brides and their bridesmaids.

1-Book a few facials a few months before the wedding.

Please don’t go crazy the week of and book waxing and extractions and all that Jazz. Your skin would definitely not be happy with you. But it is a smart thing to think ahead of the game and book a few appointments with your aesthetician a few months before the wedding so it glows on the day of. Highly recommended in Squamish: Sally Thompson 604-966-7052

2-Drink water!

Do I need to say more? It is the easiest, cheapest and most effective way to have better skin within a week. Not only your skin will look better, but even your hair and your eyes will glow!

3- Thinking of self tanning or Spray tanning?

Please! do yourself a favour and try it a few months before the wedding! Not everyone will react the same way to self tanners and spray tans. Maybe the colour will be amazing, maybe you will turn into Cinderella’s car after midnight (I mean orange) And choose your spray tan person wisely. Miss so-and-so that does it on the side and rushes you between 2 clients and a cigarette might not be the best option! Choose someone that will come to your home so the spray can dry without the crease of your clothes and don’t get damaged by you sweating in traffic or getting rained on (because it never rains here right?) Otherwise your tan might end up looking patchy or even ; spotted… Highly recommended in Squamish: Suzanne from Beautifully bronzed

4- Eye lash extension; do or don’t

Same thing here, try before and get it done a week or so before the wedding. I had some client who had no problem at all and others who came to me with extremely irritated eyes. Again, choose your lash tech wisely, go with someone that comes with good credentials. But its a great way to worry less about your lashes flying away on the day of the wedding and then you don’t have to worry about makeup on your honey moon! Recommendation in Squamish : Lidia Baker.

5- Skin care routine!

Stop being lazy! It does make a difference! :) Cleanse, tone, SERUM, moisturize. Just do it :) Sunscreen! your skin will look and feel amazing! Make sure you get someone to help you pick the right product for you though!
